Have you ever thought about life and its many twists and turns? There are trials and triumphs, heartaches and celebrations, routines and events. My name is Cathy Schrader, and as a Christian, I still experience life's twists and turns, but I have God's love to comfort me during these times. He takes my trials and causes me to triumph, he takes my sickness and gives me health, exchanges my heartache for joy, and my worry for peace. This is the foundation for the Comfort in Christ Bears.

God can take our torn and battered lives and create something beautiful. Our testimonies of deliverance become a guiding light for others who may be experiencing similar situations.
I have made bears from clothing of loved ones who have passed and the special messages on the bookmarks brought comfort to family members. Some bears have been made from receiving blankets and celebrate God's gift of a special child. Celebrate new beginnings. Great gifts for second marriages, stepchildren, adopted children and more. The ideas are endless. These bears are made-to-order with the purpose of spreading God's love and comforting message to the world.
A portion of the proceeds from each bear benefits community projects and world missions
The Church of God in Beckley, WV purchased 32 bears to give to foster care children attending the Royal Family Kids' Camp. Bears were distributed on July 31, 2009. A percentage of the proceeds from the bear sales were donated back to the church to support this worthwhile program.

Comfort In Christ Bears, LLC has partnered with the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) in Lexington, Kentucky. CAP released their winter catalog on September 11th and the bears are one of the featured items. A portion of the proceeds from the catalog and on-line sales will benefit the Christian Appalachian Project Programs and will assist families in need in the Appalachian region.
